Fit School partnership with local Breast Cancer Care team - 19th May release
Fit School's Karen spoke at this event hosted by the Breast Cancer Care team at St Margaret's Hospital on 19th May. The event, held at Epping Hall was open to all women who have been through breast cancer and will feature specialists in the field. The event is about promoting regular exercise which has been proven to help prevent recurrence of the disease.

Pre & Post Natal Award FINALIST - 20th March release
We are very excited to share the news that Karen is a finalist for a What’s on for Juniors Award in the pre & post natal category. The awards evening will be held on the 19th June.
Electric Run - 5th May release
Did you know Fit School had a team running at the Electric Run in London on 2nd May. It was a bit mad but we had a great time. Check out our action video from the event Electric Run.

Pilates Spa Retreat
WI Sports Week 12 - 18 September
Karen took part in the Women's Institute Sports Week, sharing her knowledge and tips as part of the WIFE expert team. Karen was also invited to the local, WI ladies in Epping to host a discussion on WI Sports Week and how it could benefit their members.
Kids Street Dance Workshop
We had a very successful Fit School Street Dance Workshop with Sam Golle at the start of the summer holidays in July. It was a great hit with all the kids and we will definitely be running more in 2017.
Peaceful Pilates Workshop - 17th July
Think breathing, mobilizing and technique. The workshop was a huge hit for those who love precision or perhaps wanted to give Pilates a try. New Autumn Pilates Workshops available. Why not book.
Race for Life, North Weald
A team of Fit School members joined Race for Life on the 13th July, from the 10k to the 5k. We have walkers, runners and sprinters. It's always a super way to spend time with our members and also raise money for Cancer Research. This year Karen also took to the stage to warm up all the participants and got us moving to some super tunes!
Pilates Upgrade Workshop - 3rd July
This was a challenging workshop where we'll explored some of the more advanced Pilates moves and look at ways of including body weight resistance training AND small equipment circuits to challenge the body and individuals workout.
Pilates Spa Retreat
On the 17th April, Karen and a few Fit School members headed off to the Lifehouse Spa for a day of Pilates and relaxation.
We are excited for the London FitPro Live 2016 event taking place on 8-9 April at the Novotel London West.
Come along on Saturday, 09:00-10:15 to listen to, Understanding the 'female factor', with Katie Bulmer-Cooke, Jacqueline Hooton (WIFE Events), Mary Huckle and our very own Karen Laing. Sharing their story and addressing how their experience can influence how PTs communicate to their female audience/clients more effectively. The panel will also assist the audience to better understand the female psyche and narrative. The session will close with an open Q&A.
